Biography
Daniela D'Ingiullo (Reggio Emilia, Italia - 1974)
Active in the international field, has been guest singer in various theaters and festivals in Europe and Mexico. Among the most important commitments in 2011-13, was guest soloist in Mexico City invited by the “Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes” and the “Festival Internacional de Música Contemporanea M.Enríquez”, by the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra (Mexico) and the Puebla Symphony Orchestra (Mexico), University of Guanajuato Symphony Orchestra (Mexico). She has specialized in XXth Century and Contemporary Music, especially in Juan Trigos vocal music. By this composer she sang his opera DeCachetitoRaspado, his Cantata N.2 & Cantata N.3 "Phos Hilaron". Recently she recorded this last work for The Recording Consort with the professional University of Guanajuato Symphony Orchestra (Mexico) conducted by the composer. The CD will be released in 2014. Within her most modern repertoire we find "Goethe lieder" by Dallapiccola, "Terzina" by Castiglioni, "Folk Songs" by Berio, "Cinco canciones negras" by X.De Montsalvatge, the scenic cantata "Comala" by Zonh-Muldoon and the opera “DeCachetitoRaspado" by Trigos for the Festival Spazio Musica (Italy, 2007), the opera "El Conejo y el Coyote" by Rasgado for the “Festival Humanitas” (Oaxaca, Mexico,2007), “Comala Suite No. 2" by Zohn-Muldoon for the “Festival Internacional de Chihuahua”(Mexico, 2008). She studied voice in Italy with M.Trombetta and specialized with Paolo Barbacini, C. Desderi, T.Krause and M.Sighele in opera repertoire, E.Battaglia and L.Gallo in German Lieder, and Dorothy Dorow in interpretation of first XXth century repertoire. |
