Biographywww.luigimaiello.com Bio: My name is Luigi Maiello, I live in Rome and I was born the 14th of January 1980. In 1999 I obtained a classical secondary-school diploma at “Liceo Classico Socrate” and in October 2006 I graduated with honours at the faculty “Lettere e Filosofia” of Tor Vergata Rome, course of “D.A.M.S musica”. I
also studied piano, flute, composition, harmony, counterpoint and
electronic music with Prof.
Luca Spagnoletti, Prof. Giorgio Nottoli, Prof. Agostino Ziino and
Prof. Giorgio Sanguinetti. These were historical, scientific, mistery and cultural programs. Here are some titles: “Punto e a capo" by Giovanni Masotti and Daniela Vergara on Rai2. “Storia futura”, by Fabio Andriola on Rai Futura. “Voyager ai confini della conoscenza”, by Roberto Giacobbo on Rai2. “Stargate linea di confine”, by Alessandra Gigante on Tmc and La7. “Ballarò” by Giovanni Floris on Rai3. “Atlantide”

Music for many videos and short movies: “C’era una volta” for the sculptor Antonio Nocera, during an exhibition of the same title mounted in San Michele Rome, under the patronage of the “President of the Italian Republic. The music for the documentary “Federico Caffè”, under the patronage of the “Italian Parliament”. 2006 “The third place” by Marco Maiello, winner of the contest “Giocatori per sempre” by Sony. It took part at the final trial of the “Venezia film festival” in 2005. "Darkness"
based on the omonimous poem of George Byron. It took part at the
final trial of the “David di Donatello” in 2009. My

S.R.L I published some musical articles, among these two have been published on the cultural journal “Ideazione” (Ideazione editrice): “Il postmoderno ha un cuore celtico”. 1998 “L’insostenibile leggerezza del suono”. 1999 Original soundtracks for some theater plays, performed and produced by: “Accademia D'arte Drammatica Silvio D'amico” plays directed by Luigi Maria Musati. “Teatro dell’Orologio”, plays directed by Mario Moretti. "Stanze segrete", plays directed by Ennio Coltorti. Other
performances: I took part at “Goethe-Institut” in Rome to the final trial of the contest "What's next" advertised by Nuova Consonanza, with the composition "Sussulto tonale", later broadcasted to Rai Radio2. 2004 “Il respiro della terra”,one of my symphonic works, was performed in the “Auditorium Ennio Morricone” at Tor Vergata university. 2001 |
