A leading hospitality chain announced that it is planning to introduce its first solar powered hotel in Dubai as the city is engaging seriously on renewable energy projects.

The Hotel Indigo is set to be constructed in 2017 and it will house in 170 rooms. It will gather its electricity through the use of solar power for all its energy requirements and will also reprocess all waste and water waste produced.
