First introduced in 2013 by the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) in Abu Dhabi, a specialized commission has agreed to make up 19,000 new names for roads in addition to 240 names for the new areas in Abu Dhabi and saving the community from confusion by getting rid duplicate names of the roads.
