	Blog Monday 27 April 2015 Dubai to develop Legoland Water Park Dubai Parks and Resorts has revealed that it has established a contract with the UK’s Merlin Entertainments to launch a new Legoland Dubai water park. The companies had already arranged a contract for a Legoland theme park, which is one of three that has been agreed for the resort, along with a motiongate and a Bollywood Parks outlet. First introduced in 2013 by the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) in Abu Dhabi, a specialized commission has agreed to make up 19,000 new names for roads in addition to 240 names for the new areas in Abu Dhabi and saving the community from confusion by getting rid duplicate names of the roads. The new mall is planned to be located in the Al Falah locality not far from the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The said community mall is said to be 31,000 square meters in size. Urban Planning Council (UPC) in Abu Dhabi, which is responsible for approving major projects in the emirate, announced that it had also given the green light for 22 projects in the first quarter comprising around 700,000m2 of space. These involved a Centre of Excellence in Early Childhood Development and an expansion to the Repton Abu Dhabi Senior School on Reem Island, allowing it to accommodate 1,480 students. Also at Reem Island, it approved a proposal for a new tower, the Al Noor Tower, enclosing 73 apartments.
