BlogThe airport of the near future will have electronic trolleys guide passengers to their gates with practically no human dealings.
This will be able to scan their passport to clear immigration while using a smartphone app to meet their every need, from their doorstep to the plane. Rolled out by the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai, UAE Vision will collect all necessary information from passengers to guarantee a comfortable journey. This will make a great improvement in passenger processing for both entry and exits, according to Thani Alzaffin, director general of emaratech. He also added that it is the focal point system for the UAE immigration and the back of each information flow, from permits issuance on arrival, pre-issuance of permits and border clearance. This is the first solar project to be connected straight to the DEWA grid and is approximated to be followed by various same projects across Dubai.
